The Parsing of the Carrying of a Television Set

The TV is there. I had been wanting a new TV for months.

It says, in yellow paper - TAKE ME, I WORK =)

With the smiley face - yes, yes yes

I take it. The walk is one mile. It is heavy

Damn heavy

"I want you, Dear Ryan, to take this TV (this heavy TV) to the end of this block"

Off, puff, huff, hurt, pain, lactic acid, burn, pant sweat

I set it down and rest

"Dear, dear, DEAR Ryan. I want you to take this TV to the end of that block"

Pant, sweat, hurt

"Dear Ryan,

"Yes I know, dear taskmaster, yes I know, dear Self, Song of

I know what you want me to do

Parse it into small steps

Regale it with tales, let it know that my house is not one mile away

No "dear Mind" my house is not one mile away

"I want you"

"I want you to shut up"

"I want you to take this TV to the end of the following Block"

I do, I comply, I am

This is heavy, damn heavy

My fingers are slipping

There is pain

A child darts

He does not know how heavy it is

He does not know the extent of my pain and the pain of my extent

Mommy, the man he drop it

"I'm not fucking dropping it kid"

"Ryan"

"Yes stay logical:

"I want you"

Next block. Go. Cross street. Go. I must go. Internet Age. Take me, Dear Set, Take me I am me I am taking this TV =) Take me it said with a smiley

To let us know, to let us know that it was okay to take the TV

TAKE ME, I WORK =) it said

TAKE ME, I WORK

And I am hope

A short Indian fella opens the door How can I help? he beams

He "throw your keys on the stairs should I?"

Yes you should

And the TV works

Steps are parsed

My mind is tricked

And the remote control has batteries with rust on them.

"Take me to the room, to the room where you will watch

"Where all will be well

"And parsing works

"With sweat

"Parsing works
